I work from a warm and welcoming therapy centre near the popular suburb of Chapel Allerton in Leeds. Only 3 miles from Leeds city centre, close to Roundhay and in easy reach of the surburbs of north and east Leeds.

I am a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) accredited, registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I am a humanistic, integrative practitioner. This means my relationship with you is my priority in our work. I use different techniques to focus on you and your individual needs. Enabling you to reach your therapeutic goals.
I work to the BACP ethics and guidelines and offer you a safe, confidential and non judgemental space. The space and time is yours to explore and reflect upon whatever you chose.
I have a PG Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Leeds Beckett University.
I have experience of counselling men and women aged 17 to 80 years with a wide range of issues. I have counselling experience from work at Leeds Mind and Dayspring Counselling Centre in Leeds. I have experience of both long and short term work.
Prior to a career in Counselling I have an advice background having spent 12 years providing debt advice for a Charity based in Leeds.
I engage in regular Supervision to work with you to the best of my ability and I am committed to my ongoing development and learning, to ensure I am continually reviewing and developing my work as a Practitioner.
How much are sessions?
My fees are £50 per session, and I am happy to offer a 10% discount to students. Payments can be made in cash, cheque or by bank transfer prior to the session.
How do I know if we can work together?
I offer a free 20 minute consultation over the phone for us to asses how we could work together, towards your aims of counselling.
Where will the sessions take place?
I work from a purpose designed therapy centre near Chapel Allerton, Leeds. It offers a quiet, safe and comfortable environment, with modern facilities. I also offer phone and video sessions to those clients who prefer remote counselling.
How many sessions will I need?
Each client's needs and circumstances are unique to themselves. The amount of sessions you require is flexible and can be reviewed throughout our work together.
How often are sessions and how long for?
Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually on a weekly basis, although I am happy to discuss any other options.
